Does microblading hurt?
Discomfort is minimal. We use topical numbing for comfort throughout the session.
How long do results last?
Results typically last 12 to 18 months depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Oily skin types may need more frequent refreshes.
What is the touch-up for?
Your 6–8 week touch-up refines shape, adjusts color, and fills areas where pigment softened during healing for a long-lasting finish.
Am I a good candidate?
Most clients are suitable. We avoid treatment if you are pregnant or nursing, have active skin conditions in the brow area, are on acne medication like isotretinoin, or have uncontrolled medical conditions. A consultation confirms suitability.
What is the difference between microblading and microshading?
Microblading creates fine hair strokes for a fluffy look. Microshading adds a soft powdery shadow for more fullness. Combination brows blend both for structure and softness.
Can I go back to work after microblading?
Yes. There is no downtime. Brows will look bolder for a few days, then soften as they heal.
When can I exercise or swim?
Avoid heavy workouts and all swimming for 7–10 days to protect pigment and prevent moisture-related fading.
Will my brows look natural?
Yes. We custom map to your features, match pigments to your undertone, and place strokes in your natural hair direction for a realistic result.
How do I prepare my shape?
Come with your preferred brow style in mind. We pre-draw, review symmetry together, and only proceed when you approve the outline.
Is it the same as a tattoo?
It is semi-permanent. Pigment is placed more superficially than traditional tattooing, so it fades gradually and can be refreshed or adjusted over time.
